While the value of some major cryptocurrencies has either dropped or increased slightly this week, their 24-hour gains have been fairly significant.

Of the top-20 cryptocurrencies on the market, many of them are experiencing modest gains as of press time, with Bitcoin breaching the $7,400 mark once more. The only top-20 cryptocurrency experiencing any losses at the moment is Tezos (XTZ).

The price of Bitcoin on the day is up by over 3.36%. At press time, it was trading at $7,422. For the week, the coin is up by 4.1%. A report from earlier today suggests that Bitcoin may drop significantly prior to the next bull market, according to multiple analysts.

By market cap, Ether (ETH) is currently positioned as one of the largest altcoin, standing at $14.4 billion dollars. At press time, the market cap for Ripple’s XRP, the second-biggest altcoin, was 8.5 billion dollars.

Recent data shows that Ether’s value has increased in the last 24 hours by 3.48%, with ETH trading at $132 at press time. For the week, however, the coin’s value dropped by 7.04%.

In the last 24 hours, XRP’s value has increased by 2.37% and is presently trading at $0.195. For the week, XRP’s value dropped by 10.55%.

Upon looking at some of the top-20 cryptocurrencies, Tron (TRX), has experienced gains in the double-digits. At press time, it was up by 10.79%. In addition, Litecoin’s (LTC) performance has improved. Over the last 24 hours, Litecoin’s gains have increased by 5.45%. Tezos, as previously mentioned, is the only top-20 cryptocurrency that has experienced losses, and its overall value has also decreased by 1.67%.

The entire market capitalization of every cryptocurrency currently stands at 195.6 billion dollars at press time, which, compared to one week ago, is around 0.62% higher.
